The multiplied forest is one of my first series working with the multiple exposures technique. I wanted to do something different without giving up to the natural world neither to my 4x5 large format camera. I have been photographing the forest for a long time and I wanted to keep photographing it because they are part of my life as photographer. This portfolio is an attempt to go beyond all those images which show the natural world as something beautiful and spectacular. A way to go beyond that “taste” of reality that exude my former images. The multiple exposures technique let me to create images standing between reality and fiction, so the resulting work is more abstract and much less “documentary”. A work took me two years to complete and shows that still is possible to do different things when photographing nature.
